What is your opinion of the local radio show hosts in your area?

Well I like them but I listen to, Live 105.3, it is talk radio, but not in the boring way..Jagger Mornings, Pugs and Kelly, then Russ Martin...

Dallas also has Kidd Kraddick he is a douche..(in my opinion)..And Lex and Terry (lame)..and Bo and Jim (freakin awesome)...

depends... most of the ones I hear do pretty good jobs of it. But most in the city nearby sounds too unnatural with one station running nothing but voicetracked people (that is people who record the announcements ahead of time in another city, email them in for play in your city.. all done by computer)

But overall, not like the characters of the 1970s-1990s I grew up listening to, but a pretty good job in today's market.

Some of the locals are very, very good, and some are awful. Just like radio in general.

One morning show on a country station has the male host going on about the gigantic log cabin style mansion/estate he's building in the rolling hills, and the female goes on about her new flooring plans, her Mercedes and her husband's Porsche. I am sure it connects well with their blue collar audience.

But at least they're local. Lex and Terry are the same show every day, so are John Boy and Billy, and both are broadcast from way out of state. Michael Adrian Davis is a self impressed gasbag from Memphis who does the Hallelujah FM syndicated gospel show for Clear Channel. But not the Number One show, Tom Joyner (whom I actually enjoy, though he's out of Houston, TX.) Joyner keeps things interesting and on the move. Syndicated morning shows dominate most local markets.

Well I live in Dallas Texas so i generally listen to 106.1 kiss FM.

in the morning it's Kidd Kraddick, which is Hilarius and the 4 people on it do a really good job of making people wake up.

in the afternoon it's atom smasher, who plays a lot of the music that people ask for, so its really people friendly.

at night it's midnight mix, which is really good with very few interruptions.

I like them actually.

I listen to 103.1 Qwkrock, Rock that really rocks.

from 6:30 am til 10, its Troy and Jerry. Their the funniest, because they have a thing called dumbass of the day, and they talk about funny stuff. Just 2 big goofballs.

Then, at 10-2, we have Alex Mac. She is the only girl Radio Host in our local radios. She is VERY into her job, she is a litle crazy, but in a good way, like hyper.

At 2-7, We have my man Voz. Hes pretty cool, he likes the music I like. He does the Budweiser Drive at 5, and MP3 Player at 4.

Last, from 7-12, we have Andy/Dann-o. They switch. Dont listen to them much, but they are both internships.
