I think it might be a good idea to get the guys from "Haunted North Carolina" out there to investigate and see what they come up with.  But was it a ghost...yes it was...ain't it cool!!!!

I think it's rather strange that the "ghost" is walking on the same side of the hallway that the camera is placed on.

If it's a ghost, it could walk down the center of the hallway and not be recognized.

I think it's either a staff member or maintenance person that didn't want to be seen roaming the building at that hour.

In reviewing the evidence, it's fairly clear that it's neither "just a shadow" (as shadows don't move through the middle of an open doorway), nor any other readily-explainable event.

As to whether or not it's a ghost or someone playing with the camera, that's difficult to say. More information is needed. I disagree that it's solidly a ghost, even if I can't positively identify it as a human. It does maintain much of the list characteristic qualities of many ghosts, but there can be no positive identification made based on a single video.

I'm with Seerlights on this one: it should be investigated further.

Is there a way to see it on a bigger scale?  The video embedded in the news story was like, 2x3 inches, and I couldn't figure how to make it bigger.  I would also like to know by what method the video is being recorded, whether digitally or onto a tape, that would make a huge difference, but is not mentioned in the story.

As I have stated previously..it is not. Motion detectors do not activate from light or shadow movement. Strangely enough, the 'shadow' seems to know exactly where to walk to avoid the cameras.

Sorry Leep, but this is a solid object, a human mortal if you will. This is not a 'ghost.'

I think it is  a real live person whose shadow got captured on the video. I am wondering why the school officials are not considering a  burglar instead of a ghost.

I bet things will go missing.
