  1. What have they ever done to you?

  2. Love 'em, love 'em, can't get enough of 'em!  They are awesome people.  Some of the nicest I've ever met.

  3. They don't sound like a cult to me...here are their basic beliefs:

  4. I'm biased, but jaded....

As a born and raised LDS, I have an interesting view of the Mormon faith. I know that what this church teaches is true. It has the most spiritual truth that is available in any one church on the earth today.

At the same time, I happen to know for a fact that all 13+million members of the LDS church are human beings- ignorant and educated, rude and compassionate, considerate and blundering.

  5. It is so sad that they are deceived because

the doctrine that they believe in is not the

    word of God.

  6. They are deluded as all cult followers are.

  7. Redneck scum who brainwash themselves by putting their own words into the bible. Simple as that.

  8. I don't know enough about Mormons.  If they are a sect of Christianity, I think that all sects and denominations should be done away with in Christianity.

  9. I like them. I am one!

  10. It is a matter of legal record that Joseph Smith “married” 34 women – most of them were already married to other men but Joseph basically threatened the women that their immortal souls would be in danger if the did not marry and sent their husbands away on missions.

Criminy, girl….just like most LDS you are not familiar with your own church history.

To read about each of Joseph Smith’s “wives” go to: http://www.wivesofjosephsmith.org/

This is not an “anti” site but real accounts from the women themselves. All these accounts are published record.  I know it’s very difficult for the LDS to see this kind of thing, but to bury your head in the sand and say it didn’t happen – you are only fooling yourself.

Here is a partial account about f***y Alger. It was perverse for Joseph Smith to get involved with this girl.

    f***y Alger – 16 years old

Book of Mormon witness, Oliver Cowdery, felt the relationship was something other than a marriage.  He referred to it as “A dirty, nasty, filthy affair...”

Joseph kept his marriage to f***y out of the view of the public, and his wife Emma.  Chauncey Webb recounts Emma’s later discovery of the relationship:  ÃƒÂ¢Ã‚€ÂœEmma was furious, and drove the girl, who was unable to conceal the consequences of her celestial relation with the prophet, out of her house”.

  11. Since I'm one. I'd have to say I think its pretty awesome.

  12. Get your own facts straight.  Joseph Smith was indeed a polygamist, with at least 33 documented wives.  Check your own church's records.  Brigham Young's plural wives were not all widows, and neither were Joseph Smith's.

The current church believes in polygamy in the afterlife, just not here on earth.

No offense, but you're sadly ignorant about the church's history.

I have no gripe against mormons--all my family are mormons--but the church is based on a fraud.

  13. They are the most Christlike people I've ever met.  They have standards and truly care about others.

  14. Mormons.  Never leave you alone.

    Mormons: The other cult.

Mormons: Most of the offspring of Mormons that I know are the biggest partiers.  Their kids are drinking, smoking pot and getting laid.

Mormons: Think  that by wearing special "undergarments" that they will get to heaven.

I personally know some mormons that lie, cheat, sexually abuse and steal.  I personally know a mormon that wears garments and watches porno, gets high and takes food from the bishops storehouse fraudulently.

Keep that in mind, will ya?

  15. Joseph Smith was a mormon and he was polygamist, so everyone else who isn't a polygamist is not living the life as Joseph Smith instructed

it's nice that you are not polygamist, but how should i react to that when the founder of the mormons was?

  16. i'm Mormon too!

  17. Nuttier than a fruitcake.

  18. Horribly mislead, but I really love the people. They are more kind than just about any so-called "Christian". In fact, there was a Christian church in my hometown that marched and protested the construction of a new Mormon church in the area, and the Mormons sat outside and served them lemonade because it was a hot day.

They are very dedicated to their beliefs, and put most Christians to shame. However, they are a new religion and one that was founded from one man's supernatural experience, whether it holds any merit or not. It's just like Scientology, they are part of a new belief system that will one day fall on itself.

As for the leaders of the Mormon church, I believe they are extremely corrupt, often even resorting to murder when their organization is insulted. (Shh, don't tell them I said that) Not to mention you have to be given a membership number when you are accepted into the church. Kind of cult-like if you ask me.

  19. say wa ??

  20. They are some of the kindest and most helpful people I've ever met.  I like them a lot.
