What is your opinion on abortion?

I am a democrat (but I can't vote yet, duh) and believe that it is an okay thing to do in most cases- such as:

*raped

*used condoms, they either broke or didn't work (for whatever reason)

*is in teen years and is in no place to raise a child

I mean, come on. Having a baby is a great gift, but if the parent is still a child herself, then its kind of not a good thing...

the only time i think its acceptable if the person had been raped or for medical reason.

the person should not have got pregnant in the first place so they should deal with it.

Rape: Give the baby up for adoption

Used condoms and they broke: give me a break...give the baby up for adoption

Teens: Give the baby up for adoption...

see...abortion isn't necessary.

If you aren't old enough and mature enough to accept your consequences...than you shouldn't be doing the action in the first place

What ever the reason for pregnancy a baby does not deserve to be aborted there is adoption a baby's heart beats from 6 weeks that fetal pole is alive and living and breathing with its nervous system developing .

While you have asked a politically correct question just think about this for a moment,

You get pregnant the baby has a beating heart ,does that mean that baby is not alive just because it cant make a decision for its self whether it lives or dies?

If you go out today and kill a day old baby its murder what is the difference between abortion and killing another person nothing?

And do you know why there are so many children waiting for adoption especially in the UK,the reason is the government it can take 18 months in some circumstances to adopt out a child especially if the birth family is still involved its not a case of have a baby and adopt it out there are procedures to go through which take time,

And if people were more prepared to adopt an older child that would be half the battle

EDIT: Give me thumbs down if you want, if it werent for people with such a selfish outlook there would be far less abortions and people would actually love the babies they were blessed with and not abuse them hence ALOT (not all) of them ending up in foster care and without a loving home... As a former foster child I agree with you. These children that are not wanted go through h**l growing up. Just look up the stats on fosters and find out to all the babies "that can be given away and adopted" most don't end up adopted, but lost in the system.

condoms PLUS birth control pills = impossible even though is says no birth control is 99% to rely on, no one has ever gotten pregnant by using these two methods

look, i'm not going to play God, but responsible people do not have abortions. and most abortions do not happen due to rape, but due to people putting themselves and their pleasure first. i love sensuality but never do it without the two birth control methods mentioned.

if people were allowed by law, they would kill an older child too

some people are just to stubborn to listen to everyone Else's situations personally i don't find a problem with it ...yet  when i was younger i did not agree with it at all that was until i thought about it an believed that if i where in a situation where i was to have a undesirable pregnancy with an unwanted child the best source of action is adoption i wouldn't stress that enough but allot of times some women do not wanna have to deal with the physical emotional an financial burdens of a pregnancy hence forth they get abortions with that in mind i had changed my opinion on abortion

Well I really don't think it should be in this section because pregnant women come here to get help, and they are going to bash you like crazy. My opinion is if you are women enough to have s*x your women enough to take the responsibility of either keeping it or giving it up for adoption to a family that cannot have kids. Are you aware there is millions on infertile women in the world? Are you? Are you aware that Although you may be just" a kid yourself" that baby is depending on you and needs you to live, so not only are you being selfish for your own needs your taking a life away, that someone else could have. I don't care if you used a condom or not, you still layed there with your legs open, and had s*x, therefor I have no pitty on you.

I think its disgusting no matter what the case. Rape isnt AS bad but still hurts my feelings. It wasnt nice that they got raped but that child was conceived for a reason. Like i just said in a previous answer its technically hiring a hitman on ur blessing. Im 15 in 2weeks time and im pregnant and everything has fallen into place because it was meant to be, i opened my legs so i must own up to what ive done. Somebody gave me a beautiful almost brand new wooden cot,pram,car chair,baby swing and feeding chair out of their own kindness. Another gave me a chest of drawers,baby clothes and many other things, people keep giving me things. Saved my family thousands of rands. Things happen for a reason so i think people shouldnt try stop it.
