  1. Were u trying to be funny? Coz I did laugh reading that.. :-)

  2. The statement "till death do us part" says that the two will remain together and in love until the day they die. "As long as you may stay together" doesn't state that the two will remain together for any amount of time. In my opinion if one wanted to change it to that, I would feel as if they didn't want to stay with me forever.

  3. hmm...My little brother is getting married come October and he & his new wife are changing many traditional vows that they find to be in the terms "beat".. I think till death do you part is the intended vow 2 people should take when agreeing to become united. Thats just me.

  4. its tacky and quite conniving. i dont like the attitude that mariage ia a half hearted act when it should be entered with full commitment and love which this sentiment lacks

  5. ...write your own...i like that death do you part...

  6. It doesn't work that way. Until when..until you get tired of each other. Then don't bind yourself into marriage. anyway...it only works with people who really are committed to each other.

  7. reasonable...

but.. let's leave it like it is.

  8. Lukewarm is no good. Either you are or you aren't. No escape clause. If in doubt, don't.

  9. disagree it is wordered that way by tradion, by meaning marriage is suppose to be till death the fact that it isn't now doesnt change what it is suppose to mean, i think you should never get married untill you have been together long enough to know you can deal with each other through the rest of it.
