What is your opinion on child protective services?

Should they be given such a wide scope of power without first conducting research/investigation? Serious answers only, please.

Man, I know those people try, but what a bunch of f***k ups they are. They've taken some kids away from their homes for stupid reasons. . . .Then, placed them in dangerous foster homes and groups homes where they were raped and beaten. . . .Then, at the same time,  they don't help some children who actually do NEED help. . . .and then the little children go on living in horrific conditions. . . .

Good God man, they LOST a little girl in Florida.

Child Protective Services means well, (I think it does, at any rate) but it's basically just a huge goat f***k. Which is a terrible shame

I think they are a joke. They do not help out people that truely needs it. I can tell you that i have called them before and they never checked it out at all on who i called about.

Last time i checked they had to do an investigation before things had to take shape. Unless of course the child was obviously beaten or left neglected.
