In the USA we know of male circumcision. It's part of our culture. It's a rare tradition in most parts of the world, if you travel to other countries most men in most countries have their f******n, but not in America! We're different. Also, Africa is quite different. In some parts of Africa they believe in female circumcision (cutting off of the clitoris and sometimes other parts of the labia) What is your opinion on this please?

I just asked about male circumcision and I must also ask about female circumcision for my research to be complete.

Thank you ahead of time.

  1. the reasons aren't any different then male circumcision, there was something I read about infant/child female circumcision, some doctors in america did this during the rising popularity of male circumcision in america, it was actually covered by some medical policies into the 1970's and was banned in the 90's

If you want to learn of a similar oddity, you could watch BBC's " the perfect v****a" where young women as young as 16  are having parts cut off for cosmetic reasons (and some as young as 12 want to). in essence they are trying to have an adult v****a look like a child's v****a. sometimes they want labias reduced and sometimes clitoral hoods reduced.

    all for cosmetic reasons.

so keep in mind it's not happening just in Africa, but at many plastic surgery centers on mainstreet U.S.A. as long as they call it a "clitoral hood reduction" or a "labia reduction" and is not something that is forced on them

even in africa when a study went to find out why men were pushing women to get circumcised they were amazed at what they actually found out, it was the women pushing their daughters to get circumcised, the men didn't have a strong preference either way, but tradition stated it was cleaner and such, so it must be done so the girls aren't regarded as nasty.

some people in africa think women will die if they aren't circumcised before having a baby and other similar stuff that isn't true

I've seen terribly wrong statements in america where some people think all kinds of weird untrue things about intact male penises that is just mind boggling

  2. Sounds weird, I have never heard of that.

  3. I know about this and I think it is a disfigurement of the human body. But I also understand that it is a cultural practice and to not have it done can mean being outcast and unacceptable for marriage. I am just glad that I don't live in a culture that adapted this practice. It is done so that women will not have s*x before they are married. After the organs are removed, the v****a is sewn closed so that the husband will know the woman never had s*x before. He is the one to remove the stitches as if the woman is an object and not a partner in love-making.

  4. It is mutilation !

It is designed to keep a woman from enjoying s*x.

  5. why would anyone do that to a girl for a guy theirs lees chance of infection and makes it appear larger. The only purpose of a C**t is for pleasure why take that away

  6. there is a real clinical reason people choose to have a male circumcised.

hygiene is a factor  (yes you can teach them to clean it ) but there is studies that show that there is a higher chance for stds or even cervical cancer in females with uncircumcised partners.

there is absolutely no reason for female circumsicion. There is no clinical reason for a female to be circumcised.

  7. I disagree with it. The reasoning behind male circumcision is primarily cleanliness... female circumcision is denial of pleasure.

    Big difference.

  8. I think it's pretty terrible, honestly. There's no good reason for it.
