He got what he wanted, to be able to play again but I think they surprised him by trading him to the jets, we will see what the old man does now.

Well honestly i think Ted Thompson is a jerk and i think that someone needs to do something with him.

Brett Favre (best qb of ALL time) shold have stayed in Green Bay the fans wanted him back and so did the coaches it was just ted thompson that didnt.

Everybody is saying Aaron Rodgers is the future of this team.

but i honestly dont see him in the packers future.

he is going to get hurt and not play and the packers are going to be stuck with a rookie as a starter.

so i really think they shoulda walcomed brett back to the packers

I think the Packers should have welcomed him back, but I can understand how they are sick of waiting for him to decide what he is going to do at the end of each season. I don't think going to the Jets is a good decision if he really wants to win a title, because the Jets won't even make the playoffs

i think last year was more of a "fluke". i dont like to use that word cuz i love brett favre as a player but he his best year he could have had last year, went as far as possible he could go even if he came back to green bay. i agree with Green Bay's decision to not want him there. he wouldnt have gotten all the snaps anyway. he was just a waste of space there and too much unneeded media. theyre a young team and ready to move on

I personally think that Brett Favre should have stayed retired all together. He is just damaging his own legacy by causing all of this turmoil to a team that has made it possible for him to be where he is today. Also if he would have accepted an open Quarterback competition and he won team chemistry might have gone down. I just think he should have stayed retired or not have retired at all.

Though I'm glad that he's in our division, he's playing for a team with some major problems. Their coach needs to step down. I don't know how he's allowed on any NFL venue.

Well.......He is on a team that wants him.  He has a chance to win considering all the upgrades the Jets did to the offensive line.  Paired with an also upgraded Defense, what does he have to lose?  The Jets, to me, appear to be one of the most underrated teams right now because of last years season.  The Jets have been very aggressive in the offseason and put together a team that will probably surprise many.
