I am 14 years old and personally, I'm sick of walking down the hall of my high school and having to tear my eyes away from every short skirt and V-neck I pass daily. Thats why I'm asking why most schools take away the threat of teen pregnancy by making entire schools single gender, which means there are boys in one school and girls in another. That way, when i walk from Geometry to Physics, I don't get distracted by every girl in school.

  1. Wellll, I like to have boys around but sometimes they're really obnoxious but girls are too gossipy at times. I guess i don't know...

  2. I don't agree with you, my kid.

It's good to get to know about the other gender. Just bear in mind that each age has got its own points of weaknesses.

  3. school uniforms would help with that too. It would make kids grow up to be much less judgemental of others based on appearance.

I agree with what you're saying too. All through middle school and high school, I was SO distracted by pretty girls, dressed up all sluty, that it was hard for me to pay attention to the actuall school work.

  4. I have mixed feelings about this. Research shows that students perform better in gender-specific schools. The conjecture is that the removal of the sexual dynamic allows students to focus more on their studies; and that teachers tend to treat males and females differently in the classroom (unconsciously, of course). However, you're going to have to learn to deal with the distraction of the opposite s*x at some point.
