  1. Guns are very bad to have.

Guns kill many many people, you see nobody should own guns.  If you cant buy guns at walmart the crime wont go up at all and we would live in a safer place lol now for people who arnt reading this whole thing i think guns save lives but im just gonna QQ some more to non readers.  so yeah if nobody uses guns then nobody will be killed because all someone does is go to walmart and buy a gun then shoot somebody, once they are off the shelves criminals who do illegal stuff wont have guns, because its not like they can go on the streets and buy them.

All in all take guns away and when a criminal jumps you, you cant shoot him and defend yourself.

    JUSTICE!

  2. What is your opinion on pain killers for medical emergencies? They do help us when in excrutiating pain, but some people use them for the wrong reasons.

  3. Guns are in fact inert inanimate object, they are by their nature incapable of killing anybody.  It is people who kill people, a gun is merely one of the many tools that can be employed for that purpose.  Someday, you may find yourself being oppressed by some bully bent on doing you great harm and on that day you're going to thank God Almighty in heaven above that people like me keep pistols and rifles!

  4. I don’t have a problem with people having guns. I do support the 5 day waiting period and think gun buyers should have to submit to a criminal check.  We should have some way to keep crazy people from buying weapons.

  5. My opinion on guns?  They exist, they are a useful tool in the right hands and a danger to society in the wrong ones.  As such, they should be allowed in the hands of those who take responsibility for their actions and denied to those who would use them for ill.

  6. They're for nothing but killing.

  7. I think guns are a great resource especially for someone who is single i'm not single but I my husband is on deployment and alone with my son I wish I wish I was old enough to get one!!

  8. I've been around guns my entire life and in all those years I haven't once seen a gun, acting alone, kill anyone.

They are inanimate objects that can't think, hate or love and to assign any human attribute to them, such as evil or good, is an exercise of twisted thought.

Cocaine and pot are outlawed, yet smugglers still make billions of dollars from them.

"I am convinced that we can do to guns what we've done to drugs: create a multi-billion dollar underground market over which we have absolutely no control."

    George L. Roman

Alcohol was banned once, yet there was never any shortage.

I like, own and use guns. They have helped me procure food. I like to plink. I like to keep them clean and ready for immediate use if needed.

The ultimate right is the right to life from which all other rights are derived. Guns are an important tool that can be used to protect life.

What a person has not the right or ability to protect, it cannot be reasonably argued they have a right to at all.

"The conclusion is thus inescapable that the history, concept, and wording of the Second Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, as well as its interpretation by every major commentator and court in the first half-century after its ratification, indicates that what is protected is an individual right of a private citizen to own and carry firearms in a peaceful manner."

Report of the Subcommittee on the Constitution of the Committee on the Judiciary, United States Senate, 97th Congress, Second Session ( February 1982 )

"People who object to weapons aren't abolishing violence, they're begging for rule by brute force, when the biggest, strongest animals among men were always automatically 'right.' Guns ended that, and social democracy is a hollow farce without an armed populace to make it work."

    L. Neil Smith, The Probability Broach

Laws that forbid the carrying of arms... disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.   Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774_1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764

"The balance of power is the scale of peace. The same balance would be preserved were all the world not destitute of arms, for all would be alike; but since some will not, others dare not lay them aside ... Horrid mischief would ensue were one half the world deprived of the use of them ... the weak will become prey to the strong."

Thomas Paine, Thoughts on Defensive War

"The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference, they deserve a place of honor with all that is good."

    PATRICK HENRY

“To preserve liberty it is essential that the whole body of people always possess arms and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them”

    Richard Henry Lee

The right to own guns comes from a higher authority than the Constitution, the Charter merely recognizes that right, it does not grant it.

The Constitution is a pretty simple document and its premise can be summed up by this quote from Clarence Darrow.

“You can protect your liberties in this world only by protecting the other man's freedom. You can be free only if I am free.”

"It is often easier for our children to obtain a gun than it is to find a good school."

    Joycelyn Elders

"Maybe that's because guns are sold at a profit, while schools are provided by the government."
