What is your opinion on the U.S economy right now?

There is sooooo much problems with the economy... gas/housing/employment...

what is your opinion?

we are helping iraq and we can't help ourselves?

Obviously our economy is just a big pile of **** lol and i hope it will get better

But i can only hope...

Iraq is a waste of time i mean its good that we are helpin them its just we have too many problems and if we are showing them our ways Iraq is just gonna have the same problems.

What did you think back in the early 90s and the early 80s when economic decline was even greater? Did you live through that?

We're "helping" Iraq because Bush thinks we need to be over there to defend us from terrorism. Osama Bin Laden is (was?) in Afghanistan, not Iraq. There was no threat from Iraq, we don't need to be there. Bush has spent billions on the Iraq war, that's money that could have been spent on education, health care, improving our infrastructure, etc. And let's not forget that over 4000 American soldiers are dead as a result of the war.

I look forward to the day this country is no longer the most powerful. When that happens, our government will stop focusing on other countries and start focusing on THIS country, and the problems HERE, not at the other side of the world.
