  1. If you use it for two weeks and never touch it again, no. If you actually continue to use it, yes. More games are coming that will use it, so that may help.

  2. I have one, I use it, and it's worth the money.

I'll note that it isn't worth the money for someone who's already an athlete or a gym bunny. This is light to moderate exercise, and won't turn you into super man or woman, ever. I'm dating an athlete, and he won't touch the thing.

Also, it isn't nearly as much fun as a pure game: mario galaxy, boom blox, what have you. It IS a lot more fun than calisthenics and aerobics in your living room has ever been before, and while the balance games aren't that much of a workout and won't still be fun in three months, they're a blast that first week.

As for myself, my roommates, and my mother, it's priceless. The tracking feature motivates me to walk to school or go out for a skate so I can log my time, the wii fit channel reminds me to work out every time I turn on the wii, and it's mildly fun and certainly painless to use.

It beats the heck out of doing pushups, yoga, or step-aerobics with a fitness DVD, and it's much easier to stick with.

It also saved me the cost of a personal trainer after a car accident. It had ALL the exercises my doctor told me I needed to do daily. I could have done them on my own because they're simple, but the truth is that most of us just don't.

Finally, it saves you the cost of a bathroom scale. I'm a big fan.

  3. i think people should just work out. not burn out their eye balls, and not get a work out in. Unless you just want to do it for fun once in a while

  4. Like totally. I use it everyday and i've lost 10 pounds in one month!!!!!!! It's amazing as well a fun game for the whole family. The only thing that isn't so great is the battery life. After a couple of hours they die out. If you do go for the wii fit get some rechargeable batteries.

  5. well i got one for my birthday I'm addicted to it so is my mum and dad! i think they are worth it. some good games are:

mario and sonic at the Olympic games

    mario cart wii

    wii fit

    wacky racers

    cooking mama

  6. It is alot of fun!  I like it because it does you BMI, weight, sets goals for you, give tips...all kinds of things.  There are some fun balancing games,  along with strength training, yoga, and as you play more it unlocks new levels and games/activities... It has become quite the competition in our house to see who can keep first place ;)

  7. They Wii Fit cost a bit of money, but is totally worth getting, because It's great family activity. My family loves to play it and see what they get in their score.
