What is your opinion on the best country to live in? Especially for me?

We live in the USA and my husband and I have seriously been considering moving out of the country but are not sure which country would be the ideal place to live. I plan on doing more research on the topic but would like your opinion on it as well.

I work from home so I'm already hooked up with a job wherever I go as long as there is high-speed internet access.

We are a liberal couple that's been married for almost 10 years with no plans on having any children in the future.

We would like to move to a country that predominantly speaks English or at least be able to get by for awhile until we learn some of the language.

We are also looking for a country that has decriminalized marijuana. (would be nice)

Come to Australia. We need more people like yourselves.

Although, in seriousness: New Zealand would probably be a better bet. Dunedin has a fairly good liberal arts scene, and as far as Im aware, the restrictions and penalties for pot arent as hard as they are in Australia.
