What is your opinion on the killing of whales and other endangered species of animals?

i believe that if a person can kill a harmless animal then they have no heart. i believe animals have the same right as any human. killing animals is a wrong!!!!

yes ture but what if  that animal come to you and hurt you what will you do then. it is best for use human to help control the population on animales. have you not seen any movie that has animal controling human becasue they are over populated. if not the you should look it up and understand the right thind to do.

I fully agree. I also don't agree with the "It's they're ancient culture" theory. Just because someones creed chose not to industrialize, or didn't have the choice, should not account for they're lack of comprehension  of the eco-system. One thing we JUST SHOULDN'T GOOF WITH IS THE OCEAN. People don't get that, no matter what side of the isle your on.

I don't think animals have the same rights as humans cause I have yet to see a state that lets animals vote...but on a more serious note yes killing animals is but society has come as far as to kill your own kind...people killing people....its not that they don't have a heart what its just the way that the mind frame of some people...I see it as If its here its here for a reason so just let it be...

But if it's an old part of their culture wouldn't it be in their best interests to make sure that they can keep doing it. The same way duck's unlimited helped to repopulate the wildlife populations of ducks and other animals so that they could be hunted again. I do believe in conservation, but I also believe that man is the dominate species and am willing to kill a few animals to keep it that way.

I believe that it is very stupid just to kill a living thing for oil uses.

Every other living thing on this planet are just like people!!

Even though man is the strongest most dangerous living thing on this planet, man needs to start treating all the other living things with RESPECT!!

Killing whales is pointless. If whales were the only source of food in an area it would be one thing, but harvesting them for their blubber or whatever is wrong.

Sadly many fish are now dying in the sea and rivers. And this trend will increase because we are still not taking environmental issues seriously enough.

It is however unthinkable why anyone would want to destroy such a magnificent creature as a great whale.

It makes no more sense than does destroying the Amazon rain forest.

Like throwing away the precious pearl and keeping an empty shell.

I am not a vegetarian, but believe in minimal slaughter.

These whaling expeditions being carried out by the Japanese are unnecessary - supposedly for "research purposes".  Why would they need to kill some 1,000 magnificent animals for research?

It would seem that basically they have not changed one bit from the 1940's.

i like animals.... but i do not believe that they are more important humans....id rather see a 1000 whales die than one human baby... human life is more important to me
