  1. that name reminds me of my old job. i worked at a nursing home.

  2. -Personally not my taste!

I think Agatha and also Marge are very granny-ish sounding! a bit too old fashioned for my taste!

But in saying that Aggie is a very cute and sweet sounding nickname!

Gwren Debra is also not my taste! Maybe Gwen Debra would be a little better! But not my pick!

  3. I think the name Agatha is long-overdue for a "makeover"-- I don't think it's a bad idea to begin using it again.

I don't know how I feel about Marge being after it.  Perhaps a Mar- name to go with it?

    Maybe:

    Agatha Marjorie

    Agatha March

    Agatha Martina

    Agatha Mary

    Agatha Margaret

Agatha Margo (or Margot or Margeaux)

    Agatha Mariana

    Agatha Maribel

    Agatha Marisol

For the second name- not sure if you in fact meant Gwren, or if you meant Gwen-- I'd go with a "fuller" version, like Gwendolyn-- so she'd have options later in life-- if she absolutely hated Gwen, she could opt to be called Lyn.  I prefer the spelling of Deborah over the spelling of Debra, but Debra is nice, also.

  4. I actually like the name Agatha but not the middle name. Maybe Agatha Rose or Agatha Grace. I know the name Agatha is old but its classy and not overrused. If you like it go with it.

  5. Agatha Marge sounds strange to me, I don't like it. But Gwren Debra sounds a bit better.

  6. Gwren....I can't even pronounce that!  Ahhh terrible!

Agatha is a pretty name, but I would use a softer name for the middle like Sophie or Magaret or Michelle.

  7. Agatha is pretty, but I don't like Marge. Gwren? No.

  8. Agatha Marge does sound pretty old fashioned.  I think if you substituted a different middle name that could update Agatha a little.

For the second name....how would that be pronounced?  Did you mean to write Gwen?  I think Gwen is cute :)

  9. you want your agatha marge to turn out to be a fuddy duddy fat girl. And Gwren Debra is a curse too.... get back to the baby names book!

  10. Sorry but it sounds like the name of a school cafeteria lunch lady.  Some old fashion names are really in right now, but I don't think that's it.

  11. I don't like Agatha Marge at all...

I'm sorry, but it sounds like a name for a nerd or grandma.

  12. Agatha sounds like an old lady but i believe if you nickname her it would be a cute name.

debra gwen sounds better to me! good luck with your choice!

  13. i'm sorry to say but i don't like either one. agatha marge sounds old and the marge makes me think of the simpsoms, gwen debra sounds too made up together.

  14. I've still not warmed up to Agatha, but when paired with Marge, it's atrocious.  Sorry!  Gwren Debra is hideous.  Even Gwen Debra is bad.  I don't think there's much helping these names, unfortunately.

  15. neither one is very nice

  16. Poor kid is going to grow up hating those names!  Don't try so hard and give the kid a break, regular names aren't so bad.

  17. Agatha & Marge are both awful and very old sounding.

Gwen is lovely, but not Gwren. Gweneth and Gwendelyn are stunning. Debra is also a little old sounding.

  18. I don't like it.

Gwen isn't horrible, don't like debra with it.

  19. Do you really want that baby girl to grow up having to use the name Agatha? Agatha Marge... on a resume, at school for the rest of her life?

  20. I am sorry to say I don;t like either, my aunt was  Marjorie,  and hone agatha sounds like the old lady on bewtiched.. and gwren.. I don't know how  to pronouce that.. if u would like an older name.. maybe  something more up beat >..like Elizabeth, or Bethany of  Victoria   and make sure the names flow with your last name.

  21. i hate all those names

  22. they are all horrible

    but marge is the worst

    eew

  23. Ultimately it's your decision but I'm going to be honest: it isn't a bad name but it sounds old.  My mind automatically soars to an elderly woman when I hear Agatha.

  24. sounds like an old granny name

  25. There old names.
