his voice sounds a bit diff in crush. it sounds so un-david archuleta-ish. compared to the song i heard on AI. it sounded so jojo-ish.

I think it was a good choice for a first single.  I was a David Cook fan on the show, but I think they both will do well in the business.

ehh...  I think I would have liked it better if it was slower, and I don't really care for the style of music, but I like the lyrics, and the chorus is catchy

I love it! I bought it off Itunes the first day it was released on there. The thing is, is I just don't think of David Archuleta singing a song about a crush he has. You normally think of him in ballads and such. I'm glad he is down to earth and is trying something a bit new. It is very catchy.
