  1. Only been Australia once and i absolutely love it. Its so much more peaceful and laid back than england. Everyones more friendly as well i got people i dint even no saying gday to me. if i could i would leave everything behind to live there

  2. i live here and i have been to america and it seems to me they just think we are brits with tans..our culture is very similar to england but we are much more laid back. i hate the weather though

  3. I think Australia is a wonderful place! I missed my opportunity to go several years ago and I was very disheartened. I've heard it's very beautiful and all the people are very friendly, just need to watch out for the crocs and funnel-web spiders.

  4. I personally went there for volleyball and softball 1 summer and I LOVED it.

It was very beautiful and the people were very nice to us, We had to wear USA DOWN UNDER jackets and we would walk on the sidewalk and the people would honk their horns and scream USA rocks and stuff it was really fun LoL

I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to go back someday!

  5. I dont think that bbqnaoplox person has ever looked at a world map, you said australia was geographically small so nobody notices haha. Australia is one of the seven landmasses, pretty hard to miss.

    Well I think it's a lovely place.

  6. Can I just say, as an Australian, that we as a nation really need to stop looking for validation from other countries.

    Bring on the Republic.

  7. a country like Australia is a wonderful thing.

  8. its pretty though since most of it is that desert most people feel like its a distant planet sort of thing and since its not the biggest thing on the world map no one notices it so people think of it as kkind of a distant cousin no one cares for but you still knowledge when you see(visit)

  9. Kangaroos everywhere

  10. Well for the most part they are a rugged self reliant people. in comparison to Americans the guys are as a group more willing to brawl but can turn and have a beer with you after they punched you in the face.

The women seem very out going particularly toward Americans I think it was so the guys would get jealous and get in a fight for the girls entertainment but I enjoyed there comforts just the same the place is a bit more laid back than California when it came to working but they were very hardcore about sports and being out side it is a lovely place with nice people that kinda speak English so it is a place worth seeing in detail

  11. Im not a foreigner but my opinion might help. I live in Australia its great the city, and the weather especially in summer is beautiful. There are heaps of sites that you can visit like uluru, harbour bridge, center point tower. If you want more sun queensland is the place to be with the friendly people and superb coasts. Any where in Australia is the best place to be. Hope this helps!
