  1. I love the Republic of Ireland as that's where my family come from, the west in County Clare, the people are friendly and the scenery is beautiful. It may be small in geography but it is large spiritually. The south is as good too and is not appreciated fully as it should be to some(the English are bad for this) but that could be my Irish history and patriotism taking over!

  2. i think ireland must be great! i never visited the country but i hope to go there  one day and i know in ireland there are big,  wild and wonderful landscapes and beautiful monuments.

I  also think there is ancestral culture , i 'm very interested in . I don't know how are people there but i think they like doing party .

There are a good culture mystic, thanks to music, especially celtic music ( good music).

  3. I live in Ireland, have done all my 25 years. I cant really add to all above. ALL are true, even the girl who was really critical. s for cities its list of most popular to least is this

    1. Galway

    2. Dublin

    3. Cork

    4. Limerick

So, i'd suggest the countryside, its our strongest card to impress people. It does feel like heaven a little but careful not to build your hopes up, it has its bad side, like all places.

  4. Ireland is, in my opinion, the sweetest spot on earth.

The friendliest people in the world ... the prettiest girls ... the best educated population in Europe ... the best beer and pubs ... has a temperate climate - never too hot or too cold  ... excellent economic base ... fantastic music and dancing ... great literature ... fantastic scenery with lakes and hills and coastline and agricultural scenes, stone walls and let me add one more time - the people- lovely, kind, hospitable, smart. That creates a unique environment unparalleled in the world!

  5. The "Real Capital" is alright like, but like the county's better, you know what I mean like.

Actually I've not been further than CUH for years, I'd like to see what it's like now they've done up Panna ...

    ;-)

  6. i spent six months in ireland last year and i have a list of things that explain my perception of ireland and irish people.

    Rude

    Ignorant

    Hypocritical

    cold

    wet

    sinking

    there you go

  7. Ireland as lovely green grass, cus they're all over here treading ours down

  8. Ireland is a hypocritical overpriced dump with a bunch of amateur clowns in goverment who treat it's citizens as the enemy. The sooner I get outta here the better.

Thats my rant over for the day. Thanks for listening.

  9. Haven't been there, but have liked everybody I ever met from the Republic of Ireland. They seem a lot more laid back than the British. I tend to regard Ireland as being green and pleasant, and less yobbish than Britain.

  10. Haven't been to Cork, but I've been to Dublin, Galway, and a lot of the smaller villages. I found it to be a perfect blend of quaint and gorgeous countrysides with bustling and modern metropolis mixed in. If heaven were on earth, it would be in Ireland.

  11. I think every man woman and child should take up arms in England and send all the paddies back

  12. i think every man woman and child in the republic of ireland should take up arms against the british and throw them off the island once and for all

  13. Ireland is like anywhere else with two differences: the scenery is breathtaking and the people are funny. The Irish take the comic view on most things and are very witty. They love to sing (even when they can't!) and its a nice place to be. Dont go for the 'romantic' stuff u hear, tho.  Nasty things happen there, too, but not any more than anywhere else. Its worth going to see but bring clothes for all weathers and I mean ALL!

  14. I live in ireland for the last three and a half years and i absolutely love it. Well, Ireland has it's negative sides as well, but it's not as bad as michelleramt  above me says!!! I love Ireland and i'm down in Cork quite a lot. it's a lovely town to go out for a pint and have some fun.

I'll be down there again next week, can't wait for it(goin' to the Roger Waters gig and the week after i'm goin' to c Robert Plant)

County Cork is a beautiful spot too, i spend a lot of time there.

Well, short and sweet: i love Cork!!!

    Thanks Liz F i agree with u!!
