What was the president's name in 1980?

This often leads to a discussion of presidential elections (forgetting that inauguration is in January of the year following the election!) and an argument between Carter and Reagan, but, of course, the question is not "Who was president in 1980?"  

The question is "What was his name?" and his name was George W. Bush, just like it is now.
