I don't need the dictionary definition... I could google that myself. I would like to hear your interpretation of what it means to you personally.

  1. My dear..."Mamadamu"....

Well...I have a whole different "understanding from all "of the above"...I rather apply it to the "scream for help"...for instance...when someone is lets say...attempting to commit suicide & takes an overdose of sleeping pills for example, but NOT "enough" to follow through with the inicial "idea"...-That to me is "a silent scream for help"- You know, what I mean??? The person just wants to be..."noticed", cared about, etc.-

Wishing you all the best for the future ! Greetings from Germany with lots of love & care... Annette***

  2. A cry for help that is not spoken. It could be an act or a behaviour rather than a 'scream'.

  3. Means to me.........on the inside your screaming. wishing others could hear it.

  4. When your so scared that your trying to scream but no sound will come out.

  5. The image I got in my head was when a person reacts to something and would scream, but feels it isn't acceptable to, so they sort of scream 'on the inside' and appear normal or just slightly shocked on the outside.
