What is your personal policy towards Illegal Immigration?

I have to write a 4-page paper for my Government class about Illegal Immigration. I need some Americana advice.

I myself am married to a "Legal" Immigrant, so I know the cost of the immigration process. I think there is an easy way to get around all this political BS. They got it almost right with the guest worker program. The thing to me they need to change is the road to citizenship after the guest worker status has been reached. If you are here illegally, you should pay all the fines stated in the plan for one. And you should never be able to become a citizen. The people that come here legally and burden the expense of doing so should have the only path to citizenship. If you were here illegally you should never be able to be a citizen. You can come and work as you are now but be registered wit INS and not eligible for welfare. Just my 2 cents.

The key word here is,"ILLEGAL". Who does it hurt? Everyone who lives here legally, AND pays taxes! Everyone who is here legally, that needs financial assistance. When Illegals are here, with their children in OUR schools, using OUR resources, it costs US ALL money. If those resources are used up, and a Legal American NEEDS those resources, (and THEY deserve those resources, THAT is why they are there). Why should a LEGAL have to "go without", when they HAVE contributed to the system, with their Taxes? Any & All services, intended to "aid" Legal Americans, used up by Illegals, is THEFT! If an individual chooses to help someone,out of their own pocket, God Bless them. But, if a thief steals what is OURS, they deserve the consequences. It is a priveledge to BE an American. People have come HERE, to BE an American. Many of our ancestors, before 1960, did not consider themselves Americans until they could read, write, and speak (American)English CLEARLY! Once they achieved that great status in life, they did not forget where they "came from", BUT they did not need a "hyphen" to identify who they were! They were NOW, proud Americans, with all the pride & dignity that comes with that title!

When Illegals sneak in, and steal from US, they diminish US, whether we were born here, or "naturalized" legally, we ALL are being disrespected. Everyone has a reason to be "here", I've got no problem with people who have "dreams", or desires. Just EARN the right to be here, to BE an American!

Well, illegal immigration is that done without the proper documentation.

There are many illegal immigrants in the USA. Something should be done about that. What ?

I don't know . I have no idea, but what the government is doing now is not good with the raids, seizing cooks, carpenters, mechanics, construction workers , etc.

The deportations are costing millions. Therefore, don't complain about what the illegals cost to the USA

Another point, there is a bunch of n**i goons that hate immigrants to death , legals or illegals, it makes no difference.

Enforce all existing laws.  Put up a fence and a 100 foot berm, then hire contractors to heavily mine the berm and supply snipers to man towers/stations on the border and shoot all invaders crossing the berm.

Give illegals 30 days to clear out of America and then sell hunting licenses with a no limit, open season 365 days a year permit.

NO TOLERANCE for illegals. if you are caught trying to get in or are caught here, you go back, if you commit a crime while you are here, hard labor, then you go back.

and since you are not a citizen, you are not eligible for any social benefits- public assistance, social security,etc.

It pisses me off.

Because people are coming here illegally, I have to learn Spanish. I get askd questions all the time in Spanish and then I get snubbed because I can't answer. The Mexican flag flies next to our American flag. We lose money because we have to pay for illegals to go to public school for free. If Barack Obama gets elected, we'll be stuck paying for their healthcare.

My dad came here from Russia escaping communism and HE managed to do it LEGALLY. Why can't these people?

Seeing things done how GOD would like to see them. I would do away with Immigrations Reform making the World a more better place for those whom wasn't Born with a Silver Spoon in His or Her Mouth. I would make it so that the School Kids would know how to Speak more than just English or just Spanish, Etc. I would Toughing up on Hate Crime Laws making it a Felony to Harm anyone because of His or Her Race or Background, Etc. And due to the Facts that these Human Beings are only Illegal in the "Make Believe World" It would be Illegal to call one of them Illegal because Illegal Immigrations would be a thing of the Past.
