  1. keep your surrounding clean.

    1. plant some trees surrounding ur building.

    2. avoid burning of watages or tire or whatever inside your building.

    3. harvest the rain water

    4. suggest same thing to all your neighbours and tell them to communicate to their network.

    5. if this cycle of communication continues. definetely we can reduce the global warming atlest 5-10%

  2. Ignoring it bc it doesn't exist, at least not man made, the earth has heated and cooled for 4 billion years, it's completely natural.  People need to get over this.  It's all sunspot related, so there IS NOTHING WE CAN DO!!!

  3. Barbecuing as often as possible, buying a new, full size truck, hunting and fishing for my food when I can (Yes, I kill Bambi!), ensuring the power grid is kept humming by using it.

  4. My husband and I want to have a large family, so we are serious about raising our child sustainably and educate him about being a good steward of the earth.

    For our family:

    1. breastfeeding. Needs no bottles, bottle-warming, it's perfectly germ-free, and mixed just for baby.

    2. cloth diapering. The options for cloth diapering are so different from how they used to be, with snaps and velcro that wash all perfectly clean in our high-efficiency washer. We use Bum Genius All In One One Size diapers, and you only use 24 for the whole length of the diaper days. Some people use the same set for multiple children, too.

    3. recycling. Before we throw anything away, we think about whether it could be recycled. We place a recycling bin next to each trash can as a reminder.

    4. hand washing dishes. You use less water, and no electricity.

    5. putting up a clothes line in the back yard. All you need is string, clothespins, and a sunny day!

    6. buying a fuel efficient car and reducing our number of trips. We've cut our consumption by about half.

    7. being especially conscious about household energy consumption. Electrical items draw power when plugged in but not in use, so we attached items to power strips with switches to make sure they're OFF. CFL bulbs, lights off when not in a room. Use natural light and fans when possible, instead of electric lights and central air. When you'll only be in one room for a long period, it might be more efficient to use an air conditioner in that particular room than in the whole house. Change your filter monthly.

    8. think vintage! Buy used items, such as clothing, to reduce the need for new production. Our food is from the local farmer's market, when possible.

    9. water smart. The yard only needs one inch water per week. If it has rained more than that or there's weather in the forecast, skip it. Hand water potted plants, and use soaker hoses instead of sprinklers to reduce evaporation. Remove doggie do from the yard, since runoff can pollute water. Do not use pesticides, and, or weed killer on your yard. Mulch the uard with grass clippings.

    10. philosophy. If we were to be told tomorrow that there was no such thing as global warming, we would continue to live the same way. We are not modifying our behavior

not based on global warming, although it may be a very real threat, but out of a conscientious RESPECT for the great gift of the earth that the Lord has given us to care for. We feel that by disciplining ourselves to be more considerate of the environment and to consume less, we are growing in character and leaving a beautiful legacy for the global community. We're in this together!
