I reckon its great:

It's exciting and entertaining unlike test matches and some ODI's

You can actually watch it and enjoy it rather than watch the firstr few overs, go to sleep and wake up to see the last few

the first few matches will be exciting, but halfway through the season, people will lose interest in the game because the format is too big

Whilst on the field, the cricket is of the highest standard due to the involvement of most of the world's top players, off the field it is just about making money, money and more money.

Wasn't that one of reasons given for the ICC denying endorsement of th ICL? The fact that its main purpose was to make money. So, what does it go and do? Team up with the BCCI and start up its own league designed to make even more money.

From that point of view, i hope it disappears quickly and we can get back to the good old international test, ODI and Twenty20 matches.

Already has the ICL and IPL disagreement caused the effective end of many players international careers, some were some of the countries top players - Shane Bond etc...

My question is this - why didn't the BCCI and ICC endorse the ICL and then everyone associated with the two leagues could have ploughed all their money into one league that would have dwarfed the ICL and IPL.

Ok they would still be just out to make money from our great game, but at least Shane Bond would still have his international career and we could have been looking forward to a well contested Eng-NZ test series. Instead, so long as England play somewhere near their best then they should easily win the series.
