Everyone does things a little bit different.

Just curious to see everyone's tack-up and cool-off methods.

A bit of my own, pre:

1. Go to stall, spend 5-10 minutes talking/massaging my horse.

2. Cross-tie

3. Get grooming supplies; curry, brush, pick feet, etc.

4. Treat. xD (usually something really small at this point, just carrots or quarter apple)

5. Saddle, bridle, and wrap.

6. Take from cross-ties, lead to ring

7. Walk (on foot), tighten girth, and adjust anything that needs to be.

8. Mount and 5 minute walking warmup

How do you get on a horse? Get lowered form a tree?

Edit- I work in the saddle everyday.....EVERYDAY. Going through a cute little routines does not make sense when you spend 8-10 hours in the saddle.
