If life is a gift, as the first answerer said, then why wouldn't we look to find the giver?  I think that seeking our Creator/Life Giver is our purpose.

Life is a gift, and a privilege. I believe it is to live to make as much change for the better as we can. We should also live without regret. Anything we do or encounter makes us who we are, so we should never look at anything as a disaster or want to take anything back. We should just learn from our mistakes and apply what we learned to our lives.
