  1. Hmmm.... interesting ... he's one of the smarter footballers.  He's done some coaching ... yep, could work, and if it doesn't, that's one less team we have to worry about!

  2. My reaction was............

    "WHAT THE???"

  3. Like Kevin Sheedy before him , he has been appointed, and given an opportunity.    He is an individual and will make his own history (a new Page ) for the Bombers.      Personally, I thought  Daniher, would have been preferred, ....for no real reason except for his experience, and being an ex favoured son.     The Bombers obviously see some quality in Knights, and considering their they of lack experience in the process, ( first time choosing a coach in 27 years) club supporters would hope they have got it RIGHT!

  4. i  was  shocked .. he  coach  port adelaide  magpies ,,  hopeless.. he had no idea .. he  better have  improved   or the essendon  will get  rid  of him  as  quick  as  we  did

  5. I think that it is great for the club. After all he did see all little bombers going from vfl to afl.

  6. Well it makes sense and I can see what they are trying to do.

Kevin Sheedy was an ex Richmond player and so they think that Matthew Knights an ex Richmond player too might do what Sheedy did.

    Let's see what happens.lol

Well that's my take on it!!!!

  7. i thought damien hardwick was appointed coach.

  8. I think it's great that they finally made a decision. Knights is well respected within the club and as Bendigo coach has a close knowledge of the players and the workings of the club.

All I can say is bring on 2008.

  9. Could have done worse. They could have hired Wayne Campbell!
