What is your romantic story?

What is the most romantic thing you have ever done for someone, or someone has done for you?

I have an a.m.a.z.i.n.g boyfriend, so I have a few.

This one's a cliche, but it was probably the most romantic moment in my life. We were walking on the beach by the ocean, and when I wasn't paying attention he tripped me and I fell down. At first I though he wanted to wrestle [[because we are always silly and we play fight all the time]], but then he laid down next to me, wrapped his arms around me and kissed me. We probably laid there for 15-20 minutes kissing while the waves were crashing in and the sun was setting.

This isn't romantic per se, but it certainly is a great expression about how much he cares about me. We're in a long distance relationship. One weekend I was visiting him I had driven down there. I ended up getting sick over the weekend. Then on Sunday night I left way too late and tried to drive home [[because I had to go to work the next morning]]. Since I had a fever and was tired, I actually fell asleep driving and ran over a curb with my car and flattened my tire. I couldn't just put the donut spare on because on my way home I would need chains [[those don't work with a spare]]. So I called him up, crying hysterically of course, and he came and got me. He brought me home and made me sleep in his bed and took my car to the race track [[oh yeah, he's an actual race car driver too]] and put 4 brand new tires on for me in the middle of the night. That totally blew me away.

His voice is always the first thing I hear when I wake up in the morning, and the last I hear before I go to bed at night. Even though now he lives on the other side of the country and there is an inconvenient time difference.

We have a scrapbook for our relationship - which is really just a .99 cent composition notebook from Walmart. We keep all of our pictures, plan tickets, etc. in it. And when we are apart, we write love letters to each other in it and mail it back and forth.

He sends me flowers - big giant bouquets of roses - to my office. That always makes me feel special.

We're both car freaks. I've been stuck on the project of building my car because I don't have a motor... well, for my college graduation, he got me a motor. Yeah. :-)

He likes to plan romantic nights... think, bubble baths with candles, wine, and chocolate. Then after the bath he likes to massage lotion all over my body... and make love [[not have s*x, but make love]] to all my favorite love songs.

He's amazing. I love him.
