Here's mine: I was about 17 years old riding on my bike in the park. I took a little break and admired the sunset over the horizon. Then I felt a horrible pinch on my right shin. I looked down to see what caused it, strangely there was something that looked like a MOTH sitting on my skin. It was about the size of a half dollar, brown and black, with a weird wood pattern. It took me another second before the pain got worse and even another before I realized it was eating me... I kicked it off and started pedaling on my bike as fast as I could, looking over my shoulder to make sure it was gone. I got about half a mile away to stop again and as I brushed the sweat from my forehead I saw the same brown moth flying around my head. That's when I screamed and rode all the way home. He didn't follow me there, It was seriously scary as h**l. I still don't know what the h**l it was, perhaps a new species. I researched it and it turns out there are flesh eating moths but they are native to hawai

  1. I crawled into bed and as I was falling asleep a full-grown American Cockroach ran up my leg under the blanket! I SPRANG/FLEW/EVAPORATED out of bed way more than fully awake and shaking all over. There is nothing like the sensation of having an enormous cockroach scurry over your body. We brought them back from Florida with us on vacation and it took years to get rid of all of them.

  2. I was kinda young and helping my mom out in the kitchen when we found a weird bug that looked liked a centipede with freakishly long legs, lots and lots and lots of long legs, they kinda looked like spider legs, that's why it looked so weird.  Anyway, I don't remember how but somehow it got washed down the disposal and it got turned on and all these legs came flying out everywhere!

  3. these moths were all around me when i was camping in venezualas they were freaking huge!

    very very creepy feeling.

  4. I was digging a hole for a fence post in Nicaragua and dug into a TARANTULA NEST.  About 20 of the suckers came crawling out.  I have never been so thankful for thick work boots, quick feet, and my girly scream.

Same trip:  We were eating breakfast on the patio and a scorpion dropped down from the thatched roof into my bowl of cheerios.  Plop.

  5. i hate spiders
