In the first JAWS when Bruce the shark first sticks his big head out of the water behind the boat.

In the first ALIEN movie when Dallas is crawling around the vents actually looking for the thing and when he turns around, there the heck it is, and grabs him.

Both these scenes were real SHOCKERS at the time.

The movie "The Thing" with Kurt Russell.  There was a scene where they check on their sled dogs and one of the dogs is infected and it looks like it's inside out.  It's writhing and gasping and flopping around on the floor and as a young child it terrified me.

in the movie,"thirteen ghosts",theres a scene where this girl is in her bathroom,and this ghost is watching her from the bathtub.The tub is filled with blood,(the ghost mutilated herself in the tub).She gets out of the tub,and stands right behind the girl.It's so creepy cause the girl cant see the ghost.That scene creeped me out for a long time.mad me think there might be someone watchging that I cant see.
