I believe in options.

Whether the woman chooses abortion or sustaining the pregnancy, the option should be offered.

Personally, i feel that most abortions are a tragedy that can be avoided

I am for life! But if the woman is rape, and become pregnant then she should have the right to choice, or is in a life threaten accent and the doctors can't save both the mother and the baby.

i am pro life. the only situation i would find abortion acceptable is if you have been raped which obviously is not consenting to s*x or are very very young like 12 or 13. but if you think you ready to have s*x then do it safely as life isn't something you can play with.  if you do get pregnant and you don't want it there are thousands of people out there who cannot get pregnant and would willingly raise your child. abortions have consequences even if you think they are an advantage. having an abortion may prevent you from concieving later in life when you feel ready for a child so if you think your ready for s*x then use protection! the abortion rate is going up well too fast! my sister was fifteen when she was first pregnant and the doctors told her she should abort it as she was only 15. she had safe s*x but the condom split and she was on the pill but it didnt work obviously. she decided against abortion and her words were if im old enough to be having s*x and am now pregnant then i have to take on responsibility and have this child and raise it. abortion is just the easy way for people who think its acceptable to have s*x then abort a child everytime. shes had another two children since then and is now 24 and living a very happy life. she couldnt be happier and her three children are very healthy. my stepmum had her first when she was 38. i dont think thats right because when the child is ten you will be 48. shes 46 now and is expecting another and when shes 66 the child will only be twenty. she could be her granny for god sakes. no offence to older mothers. your body is ready to have children between the ages of 15 and 25. that is when it is in its prime and is most productive!

One must be careful about dictating the lives of others, lest one wants to be dictated to! There are many reasons for a person to choose abortion, or not. It is not up to you to judge! Leave that to the Maker! It is our job to show compassion for fellow man. Just do that, and you can't go wrong.

I have seen a premature baby at 26 weeks and it was playing with the visa in the incubator and it was very much aware.

I don't trust it. I know a lot of people that have had them and there are many that regret the fact that they sat there and did what they did. I believe that it's not right for someone to do that to omeone that ha no say so in being in the world and not wanting to come into this world. You laid down and created this child now you want no parts in raising this child. It does take a lot to get with child but it take a lot more to raise a child. I'm not for it and I will never be for it. It's sad that the world is o wrapped up in this always stating if I was to get with child I would get rid of it quick then what's the point in spreading your legs and not doing anything to prevent from having a child if you are not ready keep your pants up and keep you legs down.

Well it kinda depends on the circumstances for me, if a girl was raped and got pregnant because of the rape I believe that she should have a choice on if she wants to keep the baby or not.  Now if the girl willingly had s*x then decided she wasn't ready for a child then I think that is wrong.  In my opinion if you are ready to have s*x you should be ready for the consequences ( or a child).  So with that in mind I am the majority pro life.

Pro-life.  

This is a very difficult issue for me though as far as the law, because it is 100%, without a doubt, killing a human being, and in my eyes, is the greatest sin of our time, simply because of the sheer number of unborn children who have been sacrificed to the "god" of choice.  Over 50 million...think about that...

I'd definitely like to see Roe vs. Wade overturned and have the decision returned back to the individual states.  But at the same time, if it's EVER acceptable, then where do we draw the line?  Obviously if the mother's life is in imminent danger, it should be her choice, but what about when carrying the baby would be a serious danger to her long term health, but would be unlikely to kill her?  What about a 10, 11 or 12 year old girl, who may just be entering puberty?  And I wouldn't be too keen on the government holding a virtual gun to the head of a woman who has severe case of mental illness or retardation.  

Very, very tough subject for me.
