What is your style.....?

Question

Well since school started( don't go back till sept 2 lucky me and get out the same as last year) or is about to start I'm curious, What is your style and what is it inspired by?

My style casual and comfy, with like 5% rock!

I'm inspired by the (some 20's- 30's) 40's mostly though i.e. Marilyn Monroe, Lena Horne. The forties were so simplistic and i love there hairstyles!

I like vest and high waist pants.. etc... and school girl look

So again what is your style and what is it inspired by? Oo and tell me your fave designer I love Marc Jacob! Abercrombie or w/e can be your style its fine! Be creative! Thanks for your time!

My Style: New England style clothes with like a dash of Western and like 50% Modest/Conservative and like 70% Elegance. My favorite Designer is Ralph Lauren, my style is inspired by Katherine Hepburn and Bette Davis. My favorite Clothing Store is Burberry.

My style is fashionesta/trendy/boho/the real kind of preppy.

I'm inspired by a lot of different people. Blair Waldorf--yes a fictional character, for one. A girl in my grade who dresses really boho, I get some ideas from her style and then turn them into my own, two. I know this is really cliche and I HATE to say it because I really don't like her, but I get some idea's from Miley Cyrus. Usually I hate the way she dresses, but othertimes I think she looks really nice, and I take a little inspiration from there. Also, Reese Witherspoon and Ralph Lauren advertizements. Mostly though, I'm inspired by myself. My style is definitely unique, it's a lot of different things combined and put into one. Whenever I go shopping, I usually buy things that I like, without being influenced by anything else. Then when it comes to putting together outfits, I'll kind of take ideas and make them my own, but usually I just use my instinct. And that seems to be working out well for me.

I don't have a favorite clothing store. I like a wide variety. That way shopping isn't just a one or two stop trip. Sometimes I'll even go into stores that I don't really like and sometimes I'll find something that's really cute. My style is really open-minded too, I guess you could say. But I hold out for one thing, nothing with the name of the store or a designer written on it where it's visible. Stuff like that will ever be in my wardrobe.

I have so many different styles I'm scared I'll end up being called a poser by someone! XD

I love retro fashion and pin-up inspired clothing, hair, and makeup and do it as often as I can.

But then I love dark, elegant/romantic/victorian goth things, not like all the little mall goths and middle/high school/etc kids with black smeared all over their face though.. that's just insulting. I mean like pretty corsets, lacy shirts and long, elegant skirts with parasols and the like, that look worked well when my hair was back to it's natural black color and really long but I don't do that as much as I used to anymore.

Mostly now I think my style is a mix of, DIY, retro, and neon weirdness. I make a lot of my own clothes, I do my makeup in odd colors sometimes and I love having mismatched accesories, like I have a really elegant looking dangly black and pewter choker type necklace I got for christmas and I like pairing it with this extremely long, plastic rainbow hearts necklace I got for 3 dollars at Claire's, then I'll wear some sort of funky shirt with some jeans and my ever present platform flip-flops.. then throw on a couple of funky, brighly colored bracelets and maybe do my hair in a pin-up style (I have Bettie Page style bangs.. they're my favorite :D) like some victory rolls and that'll be how I look for that day.

I don't like looking like the rest of the teenagers out there (I'm 18, finished with high school, I'm getting a job for a year to help with the money problems for when I start college next year) so I make my own kind of style, or at least I try to.

I can't think of my favourite designer right now though, my brain isn't working right! ^^;

Mine is casual. I don't like wearing things that are all flashy and noticable, I don't know why, it's wierd 'cause it feels like everyones looking at you and yeah. I always wear jeans to school! I also like layering my shirt up too, not always though. My hair..nothing to it just brush it up and yeah. I don't remember the last time wearing skirt or shorts...and yeah. I like lowrise no offence I hate high rise and vests toooo. And that's all and a cute comfortable jacket!
