Cat. I love cats and cats are a sign of foresight. I tend to know when things are going to happen to me. Also cats are independent.

I have no symbol for myself per se. I follow the icon of the Raven which signifies Allfather Woden (Odin). I also hold true to the icon of the dragon (which signifies wisdom, strength, tenacity and awe.)

I don't need a symbol for myself.  It sounds like you are referring to totem animals or spirit guides which are not the same as symbols.

The Wolf, Raven and Bear for animal guides. But you said symbol for yourself, and in that case it is the Phoenix, picked that up as my symbol when I overdosed as a teenager and woke back up after everyone had ditched on me.

If we're talking animal-related, then cats and horses and hawks.  Freedom, speed, agility.

If we're talking something that if I see it, I see "me", then I drew something like that once but it can't be described. It was circles and spirals and I'm still determined to get it made into a necklace.

I have three animals that I respond most to. The wolf, the cat, and the Dragon. The wolf because it has an unbreakable sense of family and loyalty. They're fierce, intelligent fighters and hunters. But, they can be so loving and affectionate when with others that are important to them. Dragons because they are elemental and necessary. They carry the wisdom of the ages. They are one of the truly great creatures said to have walked the Earth. And, cats because they hold the secrets of magic and second sight. They are one of the only animals left that have a real connection with the mystical. They make good guardians, and better companions. That is my corny answer.
