What is your take on Olive Garden?

Never eaten there but im thinking of trying it tonight!

I want to know what your opinion is!

They have really good food but I think its a bit overpriced if you are on a budget. But its really good.

I don't go there much because of the cost.

i worked at an olive garden before and i really dont think its too bad. if you love auntentic italian food than this is definitly not the place to go.

but like a lot of people have mentioned, the food is good and the prices are very inexpensive. its definitly not the most healthiest places to eat, but than again what italian place is?

theres lots of good dishes there. a few of my favorites:

stuffed chicken marsala, grilled shrimp caprese, mixed grill, steak gorgonzola fet. and if you are a fan, their meatballs and sausages are really good.

you are better off at home with a bag of salad, a box of pasta, a jar of sauce and a box of texas toast...

We just ate at one on Monday and we will not go back. The waitress was the best thing they had going for them. Their food is ok, but I can cook better at home. Italian cooking is easy, and my husbands chicken parm were chicken patties. It was terrible. I had raviolis and they were ok. My one son had chicken alfredo, and the chicken was precooked. So then when we got the bill, they overcharged us. But the waitress said she charged us from the dinner menu rather than the lunch menu. (It was 3:00 in the afternoon). So you get the same food for about $3-4 more at night. What a rip off. I'm obviously missing something from everyone else.

Anyone who thinks that the Olive Garden serves good Italian food simply does not know what good Italian food is. It's as simple as that. I don't mean that as an insult.  Not everyone knows good food. The Olive Garden has good salads, but the  main courses are very bland. It's not that they taste bad- they have very little taste at all. Any other Italian place, picked at random, will be better.

I love it! The one I go to went downhill for a while but now there is a new gm and he has fixed everything. It's great now

Well, it's a chain restaurant, so, the menu's decent and about the same anywhere. I like it, because, it's kid friendly and inexpensive.

olive garden is really good if you like a nice italian meal thats not that expensive their chicken parm is really good as well as breadsticks and salads if you like it then good alot of old people eat there lol

Like most chains restaurants, I think it is consistently mediocre.  Not sure where you live but if there is a mom and pop or locally owned Italian restaurant, I would bet it is better.

My take on Olive Garden they have very good food.

It's pretty good for processed Italian food.  Their salad is REALLY good and if they make the breadsticks right they are spectacular (we sometimes get old stale ones with no butter or galic salt on them).

The service and the food has always been excellent and I have been to this one in Dover, DE for 15 years and never had a bad experience. The only thing is their slogan is

" When your here your family " but I have yet to give my family a bill for eating with me. You'll love the bread sticks, so soft and hot. It's also better than our local Italian mom and pop restaurant went there and the chicken was all dry but it was hard to tell because it was saturated in a sauce

It's pretty bland if you're looking for "real" Italian food. If you're a typical American, it will be decent. You get good sized portions, unlimited salad and breadsticks, and it's not too pricey.

well it is more on your point of veiw on Italian food if you like to go somewere with a little class olive gatden is decent but not 100%.  now there grade on food from 1-10 is an 7 1/2.  and the waiters are polite.
