  1. no such thing as heaven or h**l, but that's just my opinion

  2. "What is your take on heaven and h**l?"

    Non-existent.

  3. I am not like most people who might think heaven is a sunny, warm place on the beach or somewhere high above the clouds.  No, my own personal heaven would be a winter gala in December.

It would be crisp and cool outside, snow peacefully falling all the time, but never accumulating to more than 4 inches. There would still be night and day and there would be decorated trees, ribbons, and lights , but no santa stuff or presents, just eye pleasing colorful party decorations.  There would be a live orchestra in a grand ball room and I could sweep across the floor in one of those gorgeous ballroom dresses (a brilliant red one with plumes, sequins and all) to a romantic waltz or dramatic tango to my heart's content with various perfect dance partners and never be tired.

Finally, a dilectable buffet of homemade comfort foods like macaroni and cheese, stroganoff, chicken soup, ghoulash, baked ham, artichoke dip, glazed carrots, cheesecake, pralines etc. would fill the dining hall and there would be one huge round table where everyone sits and engages in good food and interesting conversation without gaining an ounce. *sigh*  Yes, winter, dancing, and dinner would be my heaven and how I'd want to spend eternity....

My h**l on the other hand would be a lot like a prison.  A room that is hot and dim and colorless.  h**l to me would entail being void of any communication with others.  No writing, no reading, no speaking, no others around, limited movement.  No real light.  Mental torture.  Occasional echoes in a soothing voice teasing and taunting to build hope and then a sudden sound of crashing glass, mad screams, and vicious laughing.   Insanity, but still being sane. No escape. Never ending.  Mental torture.

  4. "When i die i want to go to heaven, whatever the h**l that is."-Ayn Rand

    Describing heaven-It does not exist.

    Describing h**l-It does not exist.

    There is no afterlife......

    I probably dont win.

  5. I described the problem of heaven in the subtitle of my first collection of short stories: "The only sin in heaven is to dream."

As for h**l, Thomas Mann describes it best. He says there are two rooms, one with unbearable pain and one with insufferable boredom. We can go from one to the other any time we like, but it is h**l in the hallway.

  6. heaven for me is a place or time that i am  really happy, and h**l is the things that make me sad,h**l is the problem that i cant be solve.

  7. i think life is h**l haha...

but really, when you think about it...all of the genocides, poverty, health care, global warming, child soilders, racism, gang violence, rape...

i'd say that this is h**l...

and we will go to heavean after this
