She is a crackpot that should not be allowed to hold public office.

She is an Evangelical.  God is the reason for everything.  

The Attack on Iraq was the task of George, not God.  And because of it, the true threat to us is still on the loose.

She is expressing an inner faith in God.  Something many are either frightened to do, or are too hypocritical to do.    Whether you agree with her or not, she deserved credit for not hiding her inner core values and thoughts.

If that is turning it into a Holy War - I don't know what is.

Personally, if I believed in a Christian God, (which I do not) I would think their god would tell them to pull out, and stay out of other people's politics and countries.  And concentrate on cleaning up their own domestic mess and help their own people.

Sounds similar to the phrase a few years ago about "capturing the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people"

Do the Repubs seriously believe that the Iraqis would greet them with open arms as their liberators?

I'm religious, but I don't think God created any wars. I think that because we have free will, humans have started wars based on human and worldly problems, not based on reasons from God.
