10 ANSWERS

  1. For the Detroit Red Wings (without trying to pick too many of the one year and done 2002 guys):

    Forwards (from left to right)

Brendan Shanahan - Steve Yzerman - Gordie Howe

Ted Lindsay - Alex Delvecchio - Dino Ciccarelli

Sid Abel - Sergei Fedorov - Brett Hull

Syd Howe - Igor Larionov - Marcel Dionne

    Defensemen

    Slava Fetisov - Nick Lidstrom

    Vladimir Konstantinov - Paul Coffey

    Chris Chelios - Larry Murphy

    Goalies

    Terry Sawchuk

    Dominik Hasek

  2. Forwards:

    Mike Modano

    Neal Broten

    Brian Bellows

    Dino Ciccarelli

    Bobby Smith

    Bill Goldsworthy

    Jere Lehtinen

Honorable Mention: Bill Masterson - Scored first goal in Franchise History

    Defensemen:

    Sergei Zubov

    Derian Hatcher

    Darryl Sydor

    Craig Hartsburg

    Craig Ludwig

    Richard Matvichuk

    Goaltenders:

    Ed Belfour

    Marty Turco

I know most of these guys were from the 99 Cup team, but to be honest, there's a reason why they were such a beast to play against. And aside from the names mentioned I'm not really familiar with any of the other old North Stars players. I wanted to put Gump in the Goalies, but Belfour was too good, and Turco is most likely going to hold every franchise record for goaltenders by the time he retires.

EDIT: For the Ducks list, why is Kariya not on there. He and Selanne should pretty much be #1 and #2 on that list. As far as goaltending, Bryzgalov? He played 60 games, lol. Guy Hebert definitely deserves his spot. I'm assuming you're a new Ducks "fan".

  3. FORWARDS- Wayne Gretzky, Mark Messier, Joe Sakic, Mario Lemeuix, Dale Anderchuk, Pat Lafontaine, Alexander Moginly, Gilbert Perreault, Gordie Howe, Daryll Sittler, Jaromir Jagr

DEFENSMAN- Larry Robinsons, Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque, Tom Barrasso, Paul Coffey, Sheldon Souray

    GOALIES- Patrick Roy, Martin Brodeur

  4. I guess I could say the 1976-77 Habs with their 8 losses and end it there However I will give it a shot

    Lafleur- Lemaire- Shutt

    Gainey- Charbonneau-Jarvis

    Henri Richard- Beliveau- Maurice Richard

    Geoffrion- Cournoyer- Dickie Moore

    Robinson-Harvey

    Savard- Lapointe

    Chelios-Desjardins

    Plante

    Roy

This is tough, there are a lot of deserving guys that I left out

    Scott Melleanby

    Valeri Bure

    Billy Lindsay

    Dave lowry

    Chris Chelios

    Eric Desjardins

    Doug Harvey

    Larry Robinson

    Serge Savard

    Goalies:

    Jacques Plante

    Patrick Roy

Chris S = nice list, but I think it's Viacheslav Fetisov, and Doug Harvey only played 2 games for the Red Wings

McPetza = Did you mean that as Dale Hawerchuk or Dave Andreychuk?, oh and Barasso as a defenceman? Well he was good at playing the puck but .. do you have him there as an insurance goalie?

  10. Hard with such a young franchise. I'll just do a first team all stars, with forwards instead of each forward position.

    Forwards: Ron Francis

    Rod Brind'Amour

    Eric Staal

(past present and future- Staal is going to have big shoes to fill as captain when Rod retires)

    D:

    Paul Coffey

    Glen Wesley

    G:

Cam Ward or Arturs Irbe. Cam Ward because of the Conn Smythe.
