  1. There is no end to the world.

Only an end to the governments of this world, these will be replaced with the Kingdom of God on Earth.

Look at the word picture of world events give us 2500 - 3500 years ago and recorded in Daniel chapter 2.

As far as the end of the world is concerned the important verses are –

    Daniel 2:44-45  (MKJV)

And in the days of these kings, the God of Heaven shall set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed. And the kingdom shall not be left to other peoples, but it shall crush and destroy all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.

Because you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it crushes the iron, the bronze, the clay, the silver, and the gold, the great God has made known to the king what shall occur after this. And the dream is certain, and its meaning is sure.

However you need to read all of the chapter to understand the significance of the dream.

  2. All the wicked works of the world will be burned up, but the world shall be established that it shall not be moved. We are to look forward to God’s return if we are saved. Jesus Christ will renew the earth with fire, not destroy it, He will destroy the worldly system and wicked works with fire. After judgment Jesus Christ will cast wicked people into the lake of fire.

Psalm 96:10, “Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.”KJV

II Peter 3:8-14, “But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”KJV

Revelation 20:15, “And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”KJV

  3. Both, because it will be horrible, but afterwards, Jesus will reign and rule.

  4. I think the end of the world...is the day humanity starts depending on some "invisible deity" to change the errors in the world.

So if we remain smart...Im sure the end of the world...isn't anytime soon.

  5. I believe completely in the bible and only the bible. I am not a religious person, but no I am not frightened of it because the bible says if you are god's child he will protect you and trust me he (God) has had to protect me a lot, emotionally, physically, and every other way you would need him.

  6. In one of the books of the Old Testament, there is a verse which reads:  "The Earth abideth forever."  To me, that means that the planet Earth will exist far longer than human beings will.  Perhaps, the Book of Revelation means something else regarding "the world" that it refers to.  Perhaps it means the end of people and all their creations.  I am still studying this topic.

  7. The Bible teaches in I Thessalonians 5:2 that the end will come as a thief in the night for those who are not watching.

The Bible teaches us much about time information.

Ecclesiastes 8:5: Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgement.

I Thessalonians 5:4: But ye, brethren, are NOT in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

The final day will not come as a thief in the night for the true believers. Actually, combining all of the Biblical evidence together, it appears very likely that the end will be in 2011.

  8. If i die id want it to be in an apocalypse, live life for everything its worth, see everything the world has to offer, its not going to be around forever.

  9. Don't take just part of the Bible and read it without reading ALL the things pretaining to what you are reading.  The world will never end.  "The Bible says that God will come back and set up His kingdom on earth".

Humans will try to end the world but it won't happen.  Lets hope you and I will be gone when the humans try to destroy it.  We will be gone but come back later.   Good luck.   Pops

  10. December 2012 is special date according to the mayan calender, planetary alignment, pagan myths, etc.

  11. Interesting question...deserves an honest answer.....

Because of tribulation and the fact that I live in relative comfort, the thought of losing my comfort makes me worry....that being said, I pray for Gods kingdom to come and I h ave faith that he will work out all things to the greater good.....I say if it is Gods time then bring it on, he can give me the faith to endure anything and I trust in his providence...

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and I refuse to be terrified by Gods Judgement day...I will live my life in spirit and truth and enjoy the blessings that he has provided me......no one knows what tomorrow will bring.

  12. I like it to be delayed. At least until I see the last episode of LOST

  13. yes i do. read 2peter ;this world is reserved for fire and the elements will melt.

  14. I wold think it is frightening cuz I hear people say and I read in the Bible that the world goes up in flames. Scientist say the sun will burn up in 5 million years so I think that is related. I would be relly scared

  15. The life of the solar system is about 1/2 over. In about 4.5 billion year's time, the sun will expand to the point where the earth is consumed. I'm not particularly frightened by this, as I don't expect to be there then.

  16. It will come when one least expects it , which gives all of us reason to really look to our L_rd for guidence and help all the more so. Look forward to the time after it I believe would be better for not all will be found favorable to the l_rd and that will be a sad time. Frightened no,

because I know in my heart that he has the power to protect his own , and I believe his own know who they are because the father draws that person to him.

  17. It is irrelevant whether I want it to come now or later. The Bible says nobody will know when the time has come. But if I where to speculate I would say we are getting really close. If the government decides to mark us to be able to keep track of what we do, then we will be certain we are in the end times.

  18. As I understand it, someday their will be one last perfect day, then the Sun will begin expanding, eventually swallowing up the inner planets.  Eventually it will shrink back down to a lump of dead star stuff, and in that way the world will end.  You better prepare.  We've only got 5 billion or so years left.

  19. I want it to happen.  It's not the end of the world but the end of all wickedness and badness on this world.  The end of death, sickness, hunger and everything evil.  When all that is gone I look forward to living in a paradise earth in perfection if GOD chooses.

  20. As the bible states

I want the end to come to be under the rule of God and to put a end to Sin.

  21. Come quickly, Lord Jesus!  (Rev 22:20)
