What is your usual excuse for using facebook?

No one ever says they like internet stalking people they know or half-know. It's always "I use it to keep in touch with people around the globe" or something that could be done by email if it was true. hehe

I joined cos my friend loaded a stack of photos and I wasn't allowed to see them unless I signed up.  She lives far away from me (like 14 hrs drive), and it's better than email for keeping in touch cos you get little updates etc. when you otherwise might not.

I use it mostly to play texas hold'em poker.

for me, it means I want my old classmates and friends to see what ive been doing and I like to show off my pics and home videos....

Just an easy way of contacting friends, sharing stuff and playing against friends in spare time.

I've never been on Facebook but a man I know goes on it. He's a control freak who has no respect for women. He's only after one thing and he doesn't care who he uses. Anything on two legs suits him. Facebook might be full of people like him so I'd never use it - don't want to invite trouble.

Nobody's ever asked me why I use Facebook... I do like to check up on what people are up to without having to ask them though haha!! I know some people have actually stalked me on there though (like really checking up on everything I'm doing), and repeated things I've said on there to other people to ****-stir. I would never intentionally try to get someone in trouble over something said on Facebook... the person who did that was about 27 (even worse, they're now a family member) - you'd think they'd be a bit more mature!
