Overrated!!!

The man can do nothing but try and hit the ball out of the park, he is not a team player!!. He needs to go back and re-access his batting style. OK so maybe he hits a match-winning innings once in a while, but think about all the times he lets the team down, by getting out in such a mad way.

I honestly think his leg-spinners are more useful to Pakistan than his batting, his bowling is very UNDERRATED he bowls a good top-spinner.

Well my view about Shahid Afridi is that he is an excellent allrounder with an agression & consistency. He is a wonderful hitter of the ball & he does'nt care who the bowler might be while he is on the move to hit! He is a very decisive player with a hot temper which should'nt be there as cricket is game of temperament & is a cool game, he is a good fielder too.

Afridi should normally be treated as a bowler as he is a wicket taking bowler and in batting he is an entertainer and should be sended up the order.

Well as he know him "BOOM BOOM AFRIDI" he is simply a dashing batsman but has also improved in his bowling in the recent years.

I think Laxman needs to sent Afridi as an opening batsman so that he can be able to break McCullum's record.

Shahid Afridi is a very talented player. He was a Batsman once upon a time who would bowl a bit. He then graduated to become a BATTING ALLROUNDER.

But of-late he seems to be like a BOWLING ALLROUNDER, not a Batting one. Infact, he plays like a bowler who can bat a bit. So we should just call him a BOWLER. His typical cross-batted shots remind me of Javagal Srinath who too used to swing his bat at everything. There's a staunch similarity between the two. Both often manage to hit a 6 and get out the very next ball.

This is the tragedy of someone who could have been the Most Devastating Batsman, the world has ever seen. But it doesnt seem to be so.

He is an all rounder and he is still to excel in this 20/20 format

in IPL. He has the capability but lately he has been very very

inconsistent. Unless he realizes this and bats - he will have

problems in IPL. It is only a matter of time for him to explode.

His nick name "BOOM BOOM" itself says everything about him.

He is one great explosive batsman, especially a great all rounder and a player born to thrash the ball.

He still haven't showed his real colours in the latest T20 format but he would definitely rock in the near future, he is the most suitable player for this T20 version of cricket.

My first crush!

He is very impulsive and always goes for the big hits,its great to watch him hit and especially when he's on the roll,but a little patience and judging the ball right would help him build better innings.So many times he misjudges the ball and gets bowled or slices it or it hits the edge of his bat and he gets out.If only he concentrated on how to combine the good big hits with singles,he'd do much better.

His bowling has improved to a great extent though.Even though he hasn't been in his best form in IPL,i think he's still a good contributor to the team.He hit the winning runs against the Chennai Super Kings today,Boom Boom Afridi!You rule!

P.S: They should let him open the innings rather than sending him at 5/6th position,his sixes and fours can make all the difference in T20,especially because they aren't exploiting his biggest strengths!
