  1. What makes me a bit nervous about it is that some say its not been around long enough to be properly tested. Which means that youre the guinea pig! However, like the other answerer above said, it is useful for the less well off, as its cheaper. Thats the gamble you take, and it all depends on your attitude, and not least your pocket! Although the supermarkets dont OFFICIALLY sell it, I bet its getting through, which means Im eating it, as Im one of those who has to buy the cheaper options.

  2. Personally, I think there are many benefits to GM crops and would be quite prepared to eat them.

GM crops could be designed to survive in harsher conditions, and provide more nutrients that the natural variety.

Unfortunately, the supermarkets don't stock GM products, because of "public pressure".  Well nobody asked me.

  3. GM foods are ok I suppose but remember the saying, "You only get what you pay for". If you buy cheaper foods, ie non organic  foods and Frankenstein foods then your overall nutritional value wont be all that great. But GM foods are suitable for low income families who cannot afford to buy organic and who reply and GM foods as they are usually larger in size and feed the family a bit more.  I personally don't eat GM foods.
