What is your view on Marijuana?

Question

I want your view on Marijuana, do you think it is good or bad? Should it be completely decriminalized? Do you think it would be beneficial to the pharmaceutical industries and manufacturing industries? Do you think it is a gate way drug?

Why is something natural illegal?  It doesn't have horrible side effects and it doesn't effect anyone around you.  Things that only effect you shouldn't be grounds for imprisonment.  Also, we could legalize all drugs and take all the money from fighting the war on drugs and put it into education.  If people started living more fulfilling lives, which is a product of good education, they wouldn't need to escape with drugs.

i hate the bad rap weed gets. on the real weed isn't really bad for you. its actually good for you in a lot of ways. [[read up watch some documentaries]]. alcohol and cigs are wayyyyyyyyyyy worse but they're legal. its all political bs. i argued about this with my friends and by the end of the argument they were speechless...ha. becus they have no facts to back up what they claim weed does and i had a lot of facts against alcohol and cigs. name one person that died from weed??

No I don't think it should be legalized. I can give you a nurse's perspective and a personal perspective. Cocaine is already used for mecidinal purposes in Australia, but rarely because of how likely people will become addicted to cocaine. Both my parents were were drug dealers and drug users, it's nothing to be proud about. People say you can OD on marijuana, but i've seen my father OD on it when I was 7. I could take up a whole page just voicing my opinion, but that would take too long to read.

l have never tried it and never will.l believe that decriminalizing it will just open the doors to a wider drug use for many people.

Stamp it out now.The world was a far better place when drugs did not have the impact on society like they do today...

I think it should stay a controlled substance and only be given as a medication by prescription,issued by a doctor.It is an effective pain killer,according to doctors,who have made studies on it.

umm it is used for some people with anger problems it likr cures it or w.e. and yeah i dont think it is good because you obviously get errested if you have to much of it...in other words money...you dont get errested for havin to much of that

I don't want points for my opinion.  My daughter is a weed head.  Her usage cost her her house, her belongings, her job and her children.  She is still using and still has nothing.  MJ is just as costly as harder drugs and can do just as much physical damage.  She looks like a hard crack addict.  I know some people use it for medicinal purposes.  Cancer and such.  I myself have advanced glaucoma and other problems I am entitled to use it but I never have and I never will.  I'd rather suffer the disease that use that junk!

i honestly think it should be legalized.

i dont smoke or do anything like that. but for medicinal purposes i think it deffinitly should be legal.

also it might sound crazy, but i think maybe if it is legalized, then it might not be so glorified by people and would probably reduce the crime rate.

idk im crazy. =]
