  1. a ice berg which was alive for millions of years have been melted recently due to the increasing temperatures....

the temp increase made a lot of forest fires in USA and Australian countries...

large number of floods in all parts of the world...

polar bears have been striving for their lives...

in Antarctica, where we think no one lives has been a place for we to produce electricity and leave out the exhaust directly into the atmosphere...

new thing - ocean foam in Australia..

    what are these things..

also do u know that the warmest years were only recorded in the last decades..

then too many coast lying regions will disappear in the forthcoming years..

Florida going to vanish one day..

Maldives going to be in the sea....

Let me start off by saying we (my family and I) live, 100% “off of the grid and are completely self sufficient with a 0% Carbon footprint.

One problem with global warming is that the concept is so vague in the minds of the people. The critical interpretation is basically how it’s explained in school and the news. However most of the public see global warming connected with the ozone and pollutants which cause harmful greenhouse gasses, etc. therefore investigating and fighting for things like alternative energy (ie. Solar, wind, hydrogen, ethanol, biodiesel, etc)

Greenhouse gases are real and do contribute to global warming. Think of the different gas layers like ozone (o3) that circumference the globe as the clear plastic on a greenhouse. Longer rays of light from the Sun go in and reflect off different thermal masses bouncing back and creating shorter lengths of energy that cannot exist the plastic barrier. These beams then just continue to bounce around inside the green house until they’re finally absorbed completely (some do escape but very few), thereby warming the greenhouse greatly even in cold temperatures.

Basically there are 2 ways that this reaction (or lack of) affects the planet. Global warming and global cooling.

    1. as we add to the gases in the stratosphere, where the ozone layer is (Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, etc), we add to the plastic of the greenhouse, trapping more short wave length energy and heating the earth more.

    2. as we deplete the ozone (with chlorofluorocarbons or CFCs), we allow more long wave length energy, which bounces back out to space without heating any thermal masses on earth, thereby cooling the planet.

It’s pretty easy to see the results..

    Melting ice sheets & glaciers

    Floods & droughts

    Great hurricanes & cyclones

    Seasonal extremes

    Seasonal phenomena’s

    Species extinction

    New & resurgent diseases

There are many ways to stop both global warming and cooling from accruing or at least slow them down until we can discover a way to reverse it, but Stop burning fossil fuels is the biggest.

I currently own 2 converted h2 vehicles which run on 100% hydrogen and 1 EV (electric vehicle), not to mention our home is completely off the grid, using alternative energy (solar, wind, etc)

If you interested I offer several DIY alternative guides to walk you step by step threw Greener living, how to run your car on alternative fuels and being self-sufficient, at agua-luna com or

Hope this helped, feel free to contact me personally if you have any questions if you’d like assistance in making your first self sufficient steps, I’m willing to walk you step by step threw the process. I’ve written several how-to DIY guides available at http://www.agua-luna.com on the subject. I also offer online and on-site workshops, seminars and internships to help others help the environment.

  3. I think it is climate change and not global warming.  In the 70's "they" were saying that the earth was going to freeze over.  Now "they" are saying it is heating up.  I think scientists have their agenda and that is that they want to be publicized. Nature will balance itself out

  4. Don't believe - when all this first starting reaching the feverish pitch, I simply went to the local University's climatological web site.  I checked their nice line graph of average temps since the beginning of noted temperature gathering, and saw that the "global warming" of the early 1900s more than mirrored the current push.  It also sunk deeply into a global cooling many years later.  Guess what?  The graph simply showed a peak and valley routine that the temp has been following since the earliest recorded data.  It reminded me of how when I was a high school student were were all doomed to be frozen out of our state in the coming global ice age.

I do what I can to conserve energy and always have.  I think it is silly that people who talk the most about global warming act like they have the corner on the conservation market.  I've been inconveniencing myself because it is "good for the planet" and admittedly my pocket book a lot longer than their self-righteous selves.  So, I don't suffer any guilt not believing in the "latest" threat to our existence.

  5. Its happening and if you dont think so you are either

    a. an idiot

    b. uneducated

    c. too stupid to think for yourself

and to craigd25  your list of supposed "scientists" is nothing more than a list of journalists, economists, weathermen (lol), think tanks,,    very scientific,, yeah right

  6. I'm all for it.  Humans are a tropical animal, warmer climates suit us well.  Plus we'll be able to grow more food with less effort.

  7. These scientific organizations warn us that global warming is a serious threat.  I believe they're right.

  8. Earth has always had climate cycles. There is ZERO evidence linking this current 2 THOUSANDTH of one degree change to man...NOTHING AT ALL... ZIP... ZERO... NADA... Lot of hype and hysterics to make Al Gore rich

Nice big list...what is THEIR agenda???  And what about the list that is about 500 times bigger of scientists who disagree with it???

  9. I am not a liberal either, although, when it comes to the environmental issues, politics should not be playing a part in this even though it seems that way in history. With this said, I skimmed  at the history of weather patterns. Listened to the wiser people around me and hear what they recall. Then if you listen to Environmentalist, Scientist, Oceanographers, ext. The answer is not at all cut and dry. If the earth axes is tilting more to the sun as they are saying then we will see the changes. As drastic as they are saying? Time is the only answer for that as well. It can only be speculations. Are we responsible for the tilt? It probably does not help.

  10. God bless you for not being a liberal

  11. As of today global warming we speak has help to keep the world from getting ICE. i.e., human beings has made the starting of next ICE age by more than 1 millenium because of the Greenhouse gas emmission by us the total world has saved and increas the stage of warmth and moved the start of next ICE age by more than a millenium.

  12. I wonder.  Are we doing something grievously wrong that is causing the N. Pole to really melt, big time.

Does this seriously affect ocean currents?

Are we in for a season, soon to begin, with killer hurricanes?

Are the oceans poised to rise, forcing millions out of their homes world wide?

If you listen to Al Gore and others, it sounds like it is just around the corner.

The weather experts made such a big to do about inclement change last year, that I thought we were really in for it.   Then it turned out to be one of the mildest hurricane seasons ever.

Personally, I hope its a natural cyclical occurrence.

  13. If it was a little warmer I wouldn't need to use as much oil to heat my house at $3 plus. Give me a little more please.
