  1. I went to St. Lucia , very nice for snorkeling if you go to the right areas, and the water is so blue and beautiful, you should of seen it

  2. Blue water is deep water ... look at the charts in the Caribbean and look for deep areas, however most of the interesting sea life is in and around the coral, shallow water more turquoise than blue.

    Conception Cay is quite beautiful

  3. Bahamas

  4. St.Thomas and the surrounding islands are great for snorkeling. As they are teaming with sea-life that is very close to the surface of the water.

  5. For me, you cannot beat Grand Cayman. Aruba is a close second. I liked the US Virgin Islands, but not great snorkeling.

On the other hand, I will never step foot on Jamaica or Antigua again. Disgusting places.

  6. st john u.s.v.i. for sure!

  7. For me the US Virgin islands, especially St John. St John has 39 pristine beaches and is mostly National Park Land.

Fantastic snorkeling, diving, sailing, boating and hiking. The water is awesome.

  8. cancun, cozumel, isla mujeres

  9. best snorkeling Couzmel (other than Eliat, Israel)

  10. Roatan Island, off the north coast of Honduras, is a big draw for scuba divers and snorkelers.  Affordable too.  Grand Cayman is also good, but it costs more.

  11. THE BAHAMAS! it is beautiful. when i go, i stay in the ocean until 6 oclock at night and it is still incredible!

  12. I like Costa Rica

  13. Bonaire.  The island is a reef and is protected.  There are dozens of places to walk in and experience great snorkeling. Did a great night snorkel at the pier, but you must go with a registered diver and pay a small fee to the harbor master.  There are few sand beaches, most are rock or coral so you MUST wear booties with your fins.  You WILL cut your bare feet trying to walk in from shore at most places.  Rent a car, get a local map, the sites are marked with rocks painted yellow.

  14. Curacao offers crystal clear waters, beautiful beaches and some of the best snorkeling sites available. Some of the areas for snorkeling are only accessible by boat, while others are easily accessible from the beach.

  15. i love Bermuda and Antigua water and beaches !

  16. St. John.  It has a national underwater park.  Beaches are the best I have ever seen, even better than Hawaii.
