  1. nope i know i cant

i only understand novels that interest me.

besides that, thats all i know. im in the 10th grade.

wait what you mean you're having a hard time. is it in old english or are you just having trouble reading and keeping stuiff in your head. do you find it boring or something

if thats it then just bear with it.

  2. You have to use both brains and minds full scale simultaneously.

  3. What exactly are you having trouble understanding?  The language itself (Shakespeare, James Joyce), what you're supposed to be looking for, following the plot, or something else?

    What book is it?

  4. Reading novels regularly. And look up the reviews in the newspapers and Amazon.com for summaries and analyses.

  5. try cliff's notes :)

or get a study group together so u can discuss. take notes and read carefully. look up all vocab u dont understand. good luck!
