What it is like driving in North Carolina I luv N.C. But come on!?

If you are a local you are not going to understand any of this. But man I wish you did!

I have driven in 11 states. NONE compare to N.C.

1.The signal lights are insane, totally outdated. I have sat @ some for up to 5 mins.

2.When making a left hand turn pray you are the 1st car.Most of the people here do not pull into the intersection.The light turns red, & we get to wait again! Why in the world do u people do this? Ironically enough they will block intersections during rush hours making it impossible for those in the right of way to go. Go figure!

3.Some side & major sts have NO STREET SIGNS! What's up with that?

4.They build like crazy but do not prepare the streets for what they are building.Many of the areas they build major shopping strips on are one lane streets.

5. Last but not least: The person making the right hand turn HAS THE RIGHT OF WAY! I cannot tell you how many times I have almost been hit by people taking their left turn during my right.
