  1. June, July, and August which is winter time as its not sooo hot then. Plus that area is past the summer rains, therefore the roads will be open and being winter time you won't have car overheating problems.

  2. Well, whenever you want to go.  But after a bit of rain you may see some good wildflowers in the more westerly regions.

  3. Definitely between July and September. If it's rainy the better, but it brings out the Kangaroos, so watch out if your driving around dusk or dawn as they hop onto the road.

You must stop at the Nullabor cliffs especially just before dawn on a full moon - it's spectacular!

The Mundrabilla stretch is famous for a UFO story. The old Eucla town site is worth having a decko at. You won't be allowed in the caves, so don't worry about them.

  4. June to October.

    1. not as hot as in summer.

    2. Whale season.

  5. I agree, winter time (June, July, August) would be the best time to drive across the Nullarbor.

I suppose you already know it's a very long trip.

    Sydney CBD to Perth CBD

    Distance - 3960.51kms

Duration - 48:29 hours (no stops included)
