Question:

What items would a tyrant pharoah have been buried with..or should i say mummified with?

I am doing a history art project and i am drawing a pharoah of ancient egypt in a tomb. In the tomb im supposed to draw the things that he would have been buried with or things that would represent him..I drew a sword type thing..but i cant think of anything else!

  1. Tutankhamen is you're best bet on this one. Most tombs had already been robbed by the time archaeologists "discovered" them, leaving open the kinds of treasures that one might have expected to find inside. But the truly important thing about the discovery of Tut's tomb was that no one had been inside it since it was originally sealed. Meaning that Tut gave us a better idea of the treasures the pharaohs were likely to have been buried with.

  2. A Pharaoh would be buried with their favorite things in life such as favorite foods, toys. Generally they had gold funeral masks.

    Take a look at King Tut's tomb and see if that gives you some ideas.
