Here in Ireland, statistics reckon one in four.  But that is based on  reported incidents.  It could well be higher, like one in three.

Sounds like you are keeping score!   No one knows for sure.    It would only be a guess.   Why don't you do an essay on something else rather than demeaning the women and trying to keep score?

One of the reasons you may get different numbers is that depends on what counts.

If a 16 yr old girl is dating a 19 year old, should that be put in the ssaem catagory as a 6 year old raped by her uncle?  Even a 14 yr old willingly having s*x with a 30 year old is not the same depths of scum as a preschooler being raped!

But I heard one out of 4 girls & one out of 7 boys.

1 out of 3-4 for girls sounds right. And one out of 5-6 for boys. Depends on what study you look at. It's sad that rapists usually spend less time in jail then drug dealers...is the government saying that drug abuse is worse than sexual abuse?

Well it's difficult to say exactly but i think mostly. It happens anywhere subways ,workplace,classrooms.

i'd say 79% of the women in us have reported being molested  but its probably even higher

You are correct.  The estimate is that every 1 in 3 girls has been/will be raped or molested during her lifetime.  The estimate for boys is 1 in 5.
