"Anthropologists and archaeologists will experience the majority of their job growth in the management, scientific, and technical consulting services industry. Anthropologists who work as consultants apply anthropological knowledge and methods to problems ranging from economic development issues to forensics."

Due to it's more academic nature, this is one field of study where a Ph.D is almost required for career advancement. You can still use the B.A. to enter the above fields -- and no, you're not strictly limited to the classroom.
