  1. Sports referee; basketball (winter), soccer or baseball (summer).

Local associations are always looking for them. You start with some training and you ref games for Kids younger than yourself. As you get older you ref older kids and make more money per game. No taxes or deductions taken off either.

Good way to keep in shape as well. Many leagues operate out of local schools.

Sports not your bag? You can try to get a paper route or deliver flyers in the neighborhood.

  2. At 13 years old, you are kinda young to be babysitting. Many people would rather pay for a more experienced and trusted teen, say atleast 14. At age eleven you are pretty young and not going to be trusted as much. You should really try to do something other than babysitting at your age, like raking a neighbor's yard or washing their car. If you really want to babysit start with family members, or get a job and have a parent come with you for the first few monthes until you get the hang of it and are more experienced. If you let people know that your parent would be coming with you they would be more likely to hire you.

A 13-year old may be able to get at job as a shelf stocker, casheir, clerk, or hendy helper at a local retail or department store. Also, jobs may be available at some local restaurants. Possibly even places like Target, Walmart,Wendy's, Mcdonalds, Burgerking, PetsMart and Sams Club..

You could try cutting the neighbors grass, running short errands for the elderly in your community or anyone who needs an errand done or completed. You could start a small ironing job. Ironing only white cotton items, such as table cloths and napkins, pillow cases, sheets, etc. You might want to try picking weeds out of gardens, or planing flowers for your neighbors. All at a reasonable cost. Pet sitting is very good job if you like pets. Putting neighbors trash cans back in garages or other places after trash has been collected. You could read to young children.

Hope that these helped!! Good Luck

  3. Legal age in Canada to work is 15, so try something around your neighbourhood. Dog walking, grass cutting, paper delivery. I also used to do things outside of my usual chorse for my parents for some extra cash. Offer to make them dinner 2-3 night a week for $20.

  4. no

  5. I guess you could do yardwork for people in your neighborhood.

  6. Pet walking, pet sitting, helping with housework. All of these would be with known neighbors in your area with parent peremission of course.
